Inauguration of the second edition of the BIO Academy (BIO Akademia)

Polpharma Biologics invests in the practical education of its employees in the field of biotechnology. The proof is the BIO Academy (BIO Akademia), the second edition of which was inaugurated by Joerg Windisch (President of the Management Board and CEO) and Piotr Zień (Director Research & Development CMC) on 26th February, 2019.

It is a unique initiative in Poland whose participants gain targeted knowledge and practical skills in specific biotechnology areas and learn more about methods used in our company. Accomplished experts of Polpharma Biologics will share their know-how with 65 participants during 15 weeks of the program.

We are already planning the next editions to finally train 300 participants in the coming years.

“The goal of the BIO Academy is to continually improve employees’ knowledge and skills, and to teach a proactive attitude focused on developing and improving everyday work in the area of biotechnology development and production.” says Piotr Zień, responsible for the set up and patronage of the program.
